"The Castle" Workshop in Moscow region

"The Castle" is a motorcycle and hot rod workshop.

The owner called his building "The Castle", so the facade freely interpret the elements of Romanesque architecture.

On the ground floor there is a main entrance with vestibule, cloakroom, kitchen block, bathroom with shower, office room and a workshop space. Garage gates are also arranged. The workshop space has access to the back yard.

On the first floor there are second level of customization service with the second light and two separated chambers for grinding and polishing. On the second floor there are two lounges, bathroom, shower and cargo gateway with roof access.

One room has the exterior walls cantilevered beyond the line of lower floors.

"The Castle" is provided with a technical basement including a boiler room, an input node and a bunker for wood pellets.

The entrance to the basement is from the outside stairway.

The communication between the floors is arranged with a spiral metal staircase. Cargo lift is provided for lifting the motorcycles to the second and third floors.

Afterwards, the owner have refused from construction of the basement and have decided to place the utility rooms on the ground floor. A metal structure was built in 2018.
